How to Use Delete Mould

Delete Mould is a powerful solution designed to remove mould, algae, moss and lichen from a wide range of indoor and outdoor surfaces.

Step 1 - Prepare the Area

Remove loose dirt or debris before application. If using indoors, ensure the area is well ventilated by opening windows or turning on an exhaust fan.

Step 2 - Prepare the Product

The 750ml bottle is ready to use with no dilution required.
For larger sizes, decant into a spray bottle or garden pressuriser for easier application.

Step 3 - Apply the Product

Spray directly onto the mould affected surface and allow the product to penetrate.

• Indoor surfaces (showers, grout, walls): Leave for minimum 20 minutes
  
• Outdoor surfaces (tiles, concrete, fences): Leave for minimum 60 minutes
  

For best results, allow the product to sit as long as possible.

Step 4 - Rinse or Allow to Dry

Rinse with water or allow the surface to dry.
For heavy mould growth, lightly brush and repeat application if needed.

Scrubbing is usually not required, unless the mould growth is very thick or there is excess debris.

Where You Can Use Delete Mould

Suitable for removing mould from many indoor and outdoor surfaces including:
Showers, grout, bathroom walls, internal painted surfaces, driveways, bricks, pavers, external walls, concrete areas, shade sails, roof tiles, sandstone, timber fences, walkways, pool surrounds, Colourbond surfaces, caravan awnings, tents and canvas materials.

Important Tips

1. Vertical Surfaces
When applying to walls or roofs, avoid letting product run down untreated surfaces as this may leave marks. Apply from the bottom up or pre-wet areas below with water.
2. Plants & Grass
Delete Mould may affect plants and grass. Simply hose down surrounding plants before application to prevent absorption.
3. Ventilation
The formula has a strong odour. Spray as a jet stream rather than a mist and ensure good ventilation indoors.

Professional Strength Formula

Delete Mould uses a professional-grade formula containing sodium hypochlorite to penetrate porous surfaces and break down mould at the source. 
Main ingredients include:

• Sodium Hypochlorite (<10% w/w): The primary active ingredient that breaks down mould and deeply cleans porous surfaces. Commonly used in both commercial and household disinfectants.
• Sodium Hydroxide (<1.0% w/w): A pH adjuster that enhances the cleaning power of the solution.
• Disodium Tetraborate Decahydrate (<0.3% w/w): A stabiliser that maintains the formula’s effectiveness and shelf life.
• Surfactants (proprietary blend): Help the product spread evenly, penetrate surfaces, and lift away dirt, grime, and organic buildup.
